Receptionist
As the receptionist at Regent Law, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answering and directing phone calls to appropriate staff members
- Managing the firm’s appointment calendar, including scheduling and confirming appointments
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, client intake, data entry, and document preparation
- Coordinating with other staff members to ensure effective communication and workflow
- Managing office supplies and placing orders when necessary
- Supporting the legal team with additional tasks as required
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook required, Excel is an asset)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Effective communication skills along with the ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive annual salary; commensurate with experience ($15/hour at a minimum)

Legal Assistant - Real Estate
As a Legal Assistant at Regent Law, you will play a key role in supporting our lawyers with administrative and legal tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, proofreading, and editing legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Managing client files, including opening, organizing, and maintaining both electronic and physical files
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court appearances for lawyers
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information as required
- Communicating with clients, realtors, mortgage brokers, lawyers, and other parties
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Supporting the legal team with other administrative tasks as needed
- A diploma or certificate in Legal Administration or a related field
- Two years' experience as a Real Estate Legal Assistant or five years' experience as a General Legal Assistant
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, real estate procedures, and real estate documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook required, Excel is an asset) and legal software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
